Komunikowanie polityczne Konferencji Episkopatu Polski po zakończonych wyborach prezydenckich 2015 r. Priming i framing – analiza tygodników opinii „Newsweek Polska” i „Polityka”

Abstract: The issues adopted in the text have substantially their reference to the science of politics and science of media. The article is an attempt to answer the question whether and how the Polish opinion magazines “Newsweek Polska” and “Polityka” have used the function of positioning and framing in their messages about political communication of the Polish Bishops’ Conference (KEP) in the period from appointing Andrzej Duda for the office of President of the Republic until his swearing. The present study is an analysis of the practical application of the concept of priming and framing in political communication of the hierarchical Church in Poland. In the text there are recalled institutional messages of KEP which express political engagement of the bishops and the echoes press of these messages. The author uses a quantitative method, content analysis and decision analysis. The article presents the important role played by the media in the processes of political communication. The author made a detailed analysis of a total of 20 press texts, which have fulfilled accepted methodological criteria. The adopted qualitative research, based on the concept framework of interpretation, has helped in an appropriate hermeneutics of the obtained empirical results. The author did not omit the quantitative research. Polish bishops will be presented as a political subject. The institutional messages of KEP are compatible with Catholic social teaching on the Church’s engagement in politics, in turn, opinion magazines have presented political communication of KEP as going beyond the Magisterium of the Church.Zagadnienia podjęte w tekście mają zasadniczo swoje odniesienie do nauk o polityce oraz nauk o mediach. Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy i w jaki sposób polskie tygodniki opinii „Newsweek Polska” i „Polityka” wykorzystały funkcję pozycjonowania i ramowania w przekazach na temat komunikowania politycznego Konferencji Episkopatu Polski (KEP) w okresie od wyboru Andrzeja Dudy na urząd prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej do czasu jego zaprzysiężenia. Podjęte badanie jest analizą praktycznego zastosowania koncepcji priming i framing w komunikowaniu politycznym Kościoła hierarchicznego w Polsce. W tekście przywołano komunikaty instytucjonalne KEP wyrażające zaangażowanie polityczne biskupów oraz echa prasowe tychże komunikatów. Autor posłużył się: metodą ilościową, metodą analizy zawartości oraz metodą analizy decyzyjnej. Dokonał szczegółowej analizy łącznie 20 tekstów prasowych, które spełniły przyjęte kryteria metodologiczne. Artykuł ukazuje istotną rolę, jaką odgrywają media w procesach komunikowania politycznego. Podjęte badania jakościowe, na podstawie koncepcji ram interpretacyjnych, pomogły we właściwej hermeneutyce otrzymanych wyników empirycznych. Autor nie pominął również badań ilościowych. Biskupi polscy zostali zaprezentowani jako podmiot polityczny. Przekazy instytucjonalne KEP są zgodne z katolicką nauką społeczną dotyczącą zaangażowania Kościoła w politykę, z kolei tygodniki opinii komunikowanie polityczne KEP ukazały jako wykraczające poza ramy Magisterium Kościoła
